Amenti MoveMeant Method
Amenti MoveMeant is a community-based organization and a decolonial psyche-somatic MoveMeant medicine, rooted in the foundational pillars of hip-hop culture: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, Having Fun, and Self-Knowledge.
Founded by Gil ‘The Grid’ Gomes Leal, a former professional hip-hop dancer, Amenti MoveMeant blends dance, Jungian psychology, somatic exercises, and shamanism to deepen self-awareness and self-expression. Their seven-layer MoveMeant Method explores the body-mind connection as a holistic system, empowering individuals to understand their choices and experiences through movement.
At its core, Amenti MoveMeant is about community—healing and self-discovery don’t happen in isolation. Learning in a group setting fosters empathy, connection, and reflection, as others act as mirrors to our own journeys. Through their transformative workshops, they offer tools for expanding awareness, reclaiming agency, and tuning into the subtle messages of the body and mind.
