Ancient Greek Blessing Ceremony with Music & Myths unveiled

The spirits of the majestic Greek land of Corfu have ancient stories to share, as well as her crystalline waters.. Poliana as a Greek but also multicultural medicine woman, will offer us an ancient Greek ceremony to honor the spirits of the land and guide us on a collective water blessing prayer. She will share with us some of the wisdom of her ancestors through mythology and the mystical spiritual codes that are hidden in the stories of the deities.

We are delighted for inviting with her the amazing Greek musician Thanasis Kleopas who will play for the ceremony his mesmerizing ancient Greek lyre. Both of them are going to teach us some songs to sing along so we can weave all together the ritual’s magic and activate our powers to cocreate a blessed world for all our relations.

 

About

Poliana Dimitropoulou Ameyali (Rhea Temple) is deeply devoted to the world’s ancient traditions as she lived for many years by the side of indigenous elders and wisdom keepers. This awoke in her the connection with her Greek ancestry and vast wisdom that she loves to honor and share. Her work is focused on Ritual Healing Arts, a combination of holistic healing practices, native ceremonies and expressive arts, assisting the journey of humanity towards the path of Virtue, Grace and Remembrance.

Thanasis Kleopas is a composer, singer and Apollonian lyre player from Greece. In the footsteps of the great lyricists of Ancient Greece, he offers the medicine of music in order to bring healing and harmony.
His journey led him to places such as India, Thailand, China, Texas, Italy, France , Germany, Poland, Switzerland….. where he performed in various venues such as festivals, museums, churches and even at a Dolce Gabbana summer show in Sicily and at Beijing cultural forum 2023 as a Ambassador of Greek music

Welcome for unique Bodywork session based on Thai Massage with elements of Somatic Experiencing – Trauma Healing, Reiki and MER (Myofascial Energetic Release). Session will combine massage, gentle Yoga stretching and reflexology to stimulate and balance the flow of energy. It provides deep relaxation, increases energy, flexibility and awareness, improves circulation & range of movement, releases stress and tensions. By the use of scientific methods Mahadevi will transform wounds of emotional and physical trauma and release traumatic shock from the past events which been trapped in the nervous system. These type of bodywork is great for restoring mind-body-spirit connection in oneself and as consequence connection to others and mother nature.

Lomi Lomi Nui – is a Hawaiian healing art which include massage and prayer. It transforms and completely balance all aspects of the self to create harmony and flow in a person’s being.
It is experience that overwhelm the mind with sensation by the use of long strokes and lots of oil, while keeping focused intention for the individual healing and health in alignment with clients highest good. Hand, elbows and forearms are used in dynamic, deep movements that mimic the ebb and flow of the ocean.
Lomi Lomi Nui brings balance to 4 elements (air, water, earth, fire) in the system of the receiver by the use of different types of energies in the strokes.
More than a massage, the ancient wisdom and spirit of Aloha (love) will guide , heal and inspire you towards your true potential.

A healthy body exists when the body’s life force energy is free flowing. When that energy is blocked or restricted for an extended period, illness can occur.

 

Preparation :

Bodywork / Thai Massage – please wear loose , light comfortable clothing, like for yoga.

Lomi Lomi Nui – full naked body massage. If you wish please bring your favourite lungi / cloth for covering intimate parts of the body, otherwise will be provided.

Mahadevi is a Corfu based body oriented therapist with 14 years of experience in working with people in the field of body oriented therapy and healing. She is trained and experienced in different modalities such as: Reiki, Thai Massage, Somatic Experiencing – Trauma Healing, Holistic Counselling, Lomi Lomi Nui, MER (Myofascial Energetic Release), BBTRS ( Biodynamic Breathwork Trauma Release System).

The wide range of knowledge based on science and her own spiritual path – which introduced her to different ancient systems of healing arts and prayers – provide her ability of meeting every individual with unique care.

After working for years with people in Corfu, in 2022 with the War in her native country she dedicated most of her time in contributing to the resilience of Ukrainians, by working as a Mental Health Consultant and Trauma therapist in Humanitarian Organisations and contributing in training Ukrainian and Belorussian Psychologists and Psychotherapists in Working with Trauma.

Her biggest longing is to see harmony and peace on our beautiful Planet Earth and that is possible when each individual is in peace and harmony within oneself.
