Kareem has been the most influencial co-creator of Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam, where most of his nights were packed and sold out.
Almost 10 years ago, Kareem Raïhani has been the first Dj that brought Ecstatic Dance to Conscious Festivals in Europe. Most of the times he has been the first dj ever allowed on conscious festivals.

Kareem’s sets contains many of his own music creations, productions and remixes. Om Namo Bhagavate, Soul on Fire, Eyes of a Miracle Remix are just one of Kareem’s productions that make the difference on any conscious dance floors. His music is streamed and downloaded in more then 50 countries.

The music of Mirabai Ceiba draws the listener into a gossamer web of gently plucked strings, stately piano arpeggios, subtle vocal interplay and poetic lyricism. The sound is easy to love, but hard to categorize. It’s world music. It’s chamber music. It’s folkloric. It’s devotional. But it ultimately transcends any label you try to put on it—except for “beautiful.” In it, we hear the loving heart-play of two gifted musicians and singers—the husband-and-wife team of Markus Sieber andAngelika Baumbach. Together, they’ve created a series of acclaimed, exquisitely-realized studio albums and concert experiences that immerse listeners in a shimmering world of transcendent wonder.

About

Markus and Angelika come from different parts of the globe. He’s East German. She’s of Mexican and German heritage, born in Tucson, Arizona, and raised in a small village near Mexico City. They met at a street fair during Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival and quickly formed an alliance both romantic and musical. The name Mirabai Ceiba reflects the couple’s pan-global perspective. Mirabai (1490-1547) was a legendary Hindu devotional singer. The Ceiba is the sacred tree of Latin America.

Born on the tiny Island of Guernsey to a Portuguese family, Gomes channels influences from both sides of her ethnicity, blending the essence of the traditional, emotional and ‘larger than life’ Fado folk music with British progressive modern inspiration.
Her acclaimed debut album Diamonds & Demons was released in October 2016 and received lots of media attention and radio support in Europe and the UK. She played in 25 countries in the last 2 years includes major festivals in Europe.

Ykashahu is the middle daughter of Biraci Nixiwaka and Putanny. Since a very young age, Yka has been following in the footsteps of her parents, and nowadays travels around Brazil and abroad to share her people’s culture and spirituality. With an amazing voice and beautiful guitar playing, she represents the talented younger Yawanawá generation as a future Yawanawá chief, as well as the incredible feminine power of the nation.

Ykashahu carries the energy and ways of her mother, great Yawanawá chief Putanny, and is following in her steps to become one of the leaders of the nation in the future.

SAKU Saku is a very powerful medicine man of the Marubo nation in the Amazon Forest of Bra- zil, although of young age. He is now working with Nixiwaká and Putanny in Yawanawa ceremonies, assisting them in the healing of participants. In the Marubo nation, medicine men and women identify the children who will continue their work and they start doing healing work at a very young age. Saku started when he was age 4 and recently have suc- cessfully healed patients of diseases which their doctors in hospitals told them there was no cure due to its advanced stage.

Saku has for decades deeply studied the indigenous spirituality of his people, having undergone through very strict dietas to serve as channels for the healing of his patients. He is a master of ancient spiritual codes and techniques which he uses on the patient’s body and spirit to bless him/her in the way

Putanny Yawanawá Daughter of the legendary Yawanawá leader Tuin Kuru, Putanny and her sister Hushahu were the first women of the Yawanawá nation to receive the highest spiritual initiation from the elders. They earned their communities’ respect as spiritual leaders, opening the way into this sacred path for other Yawanawá women. It was a break in tradition that united the male and female universe, and brought the magic of feminine spirituality to strengthen the Yawanawá culture. For this achievement, they received a commendation from the Brazilian senate as recognition of their important role in Brazilian women’s empowerment.

Putanny has an incredible voice and presence, representing her people’s ancestry. She spent a good portion of the past years in the Sacred Village, where she organizes spiritual retreats.

The songs will be sung both in the traditional way of the Yawanawá nation which is using only their voices and also with the instruments, guitar and drums.
